4B6PP61 MININI INC@

September 29, 2009
Mr. Jason Musick
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Dear Mr. Musick:
Re: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit C-81-010
Third Quarter 2009 Sediment Pond Inspections
Impoundment inspection results for the third quarter of 2009 are enclosed. All impoundment
inspections were conducted by a qualified impoundment inspector. Inspections took place on
September 251h, September 26`h and September 28'h.
Maintenance items noted during the inspections were minor and are listed below:
West Pyeatt #1 -sediment marker
Sage #2 - sediment marker
West Flume - sediment marker
Middle Flume #3 - clean sediment and reset sediment marker
It is difficult to verify the presence of sediment markers in ponds that are full or nearly full as the
markers are submerged. Sediment markers in the drier impoundments are also popular rubbing
spots for cattle and wildlife and tend to get knocked over or broken off. Trapper will replace the
markers listed above where possible and clean Middle Flume #3 during the current construction
season.
At this time, all ponds are functioning as designed.
Contact me if you have any questions or need more information.
Sincerely,
James M.
