Computer requirements to use the DBMS doeannent Ima ft CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of thin or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase =Ig be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif On on your computer that will handle angle and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or Taira" and they do= with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from Irf inView.com4 does work with QuickView. After downloading "Irf inView", it needs to be cw$gured as your default .tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility.
