Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety (Division) thanks you for your letter of <br />9 September 2009 regarding the Tucson South Pit operated by Aggregate Industries - WCR, Inc. <br />in Adams County. <br />After speaking with the operator and reviewing the project files, it appears that both the Tucson <br />Resource Mine to the north (M-1991-140) and the Tucson South Pit (M-2004-044) are fully in <br />compliance with their Mining and Reclamation Plans, and the Financial Warranties (bonds) for <br />both operations are adequate.
