• Mr. Allen Sorenson, DRMS 3/6/2009 Page 4 of 4
cobalt, iron, manganese and zinc standard, with a lower pH boundary than the
Agricultural Standard. Those particular elements have a reduced proposed baseline
standard than was presented in TR05, based on 99% upper confidence calculation (lower
bound in the case of pH).
• Downgradient Well (MW-5) was drilled and completed on or about September 27, 2007
and as such has only four quarters of data available. A revised provisional baseline was
calculated for the available dataset, with only manganese exceeding the Colorado
Agricultural Standard (by less than an order of magnitude). A provisional baseline is
proposed in Table 4. MRV suggests that, per TR05, a permanent baseline be established
upon receipt of five (5) quarters of data.
3. Impacts to Surface and/or Groundwater
There were no negative effects observed on either surface or groundwater within the past year.
Only small variations in parameter concentrations were measured showing that there are little to
no effect on water from MRV's operation. MRV expects, based on field data, that the water
quality within the Cash Mine will improve, following mill tailings emplacement per the proposed
Technical Revision #06.
4. Mitigation Measures
At this time, no mitigation measures appear necessary.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at (720) 565-3448 for any questions or concerns the Division
may have.
Sincerely,
MOUNT ROYALE VENTURES, LLC

By: Matt Collins
General Manager - Front Range Gold Project
Enclosures:
¦ Table 1- Cash Gulch (SW-1) Summary and Baseline Analysis
¦ Table 2 - Upgradient Well (MW-1) Summary and Baseline Analysis
¦ Table 3 - Cash Mine Pool (CW) Summary and Baseline Analysis
¦ Table 4 - Downgradient Well (MW-5) Summary and Baseline Analysis
¦ Inorganic Analytical Results - ACZ Laboratories, Inc. - data for all water
monitoring performed by MRV per permit requirements, from Q1, 2006 to
Q3, 2008, inclusive (additional data prior to April 10, 2007 predates
requirements for water monitoring under this permit, but is included in
dataset)
2007-8 Mine Water.doc
