Note: Rental quote estimates on the 3 yard track loader are $440/day without fuel or operator. Through Ron Lane <br />Excavating or other local contractor, all overheads should be covered through final grade and soil placement for $900- <br />'P 1000/day or estimated job cost. This is a one day job for an experienced, qualified operator. Estimates support 2nd <br />nan and fuel. <br />--Activity Schedule: Demolition and Removal <br />Move in equipment prior to demolition start without charges: 7 day rental starts the day after move in <br />Roof Demolition and Removal <br />This is an 8 day job with part time contract labor licensed and bondable. Time allotted for roof demolition is 2 days or <br />16 hours. <br />Equipment: Two (2) flat bed trucks, boom lift and crane can be positioned at the North end of road at the water tank <br />and on the East and South side of the mill (See photos) <br />-Days 1 and 2-Start Job <br />_ 1. Remove roof section (roofing skin and 2" x 8" rafters) over crusher room with one man wearing safety harness and <br />-line and one man in boom lift to assist release and sectioning of soffit and roof sections. Crew will need circular hand <br />-saws, light chain saws, handyman or light crow bar and harness/safety lines. <br />Note: Leave interior truss joists and cross timbers for wall supports in case of overnight high winds. Remove <br />safely and systematically with wall sections. <br />- 2. With safety lines attached at the South end of the crusher room, roof sections of 6' x 12' units will be removed <br />starting from the South end of the mill and crane lifted to flat beds. <br />- 3. Fill flat bed trucks with debris and transport them to Georgetown for disposal and temporary overnight parking, <br />pre-arranged through the Chateau Chamonix Hotel @$50 per night or $300-6 nights. <br />Mill Demolition and Removal <br />Days 3 and 4 <br />Remove West, South and East walls. Load wall sections with exterior side down. Cut wall sections into 6' or 8' <br />widths and stack with exterior sides facing down so wall cavities can be filled with 1" by 8"s and 2" by 8"s sized roof <br />_ debris. <br />Use pump jacks, scaffold and light chain saws with safety glasses. <br />_ Remove snow shed. <br />Days 5 and 6 <br />Remove crusher room and storage room. Remove crusher room walls, roof trusses and support timbers, and trestle. <br />Note: Because of the historical and recycling value of the timbers, contact Thomas Buckley of Georgetown regarding <br />recycling or dumping of debris. Pre-arranged, the Empire City Dump will also receive debris. <br />Day 7 <br />Return rental equipment, boom lift and crane. Bring track loader to site. <br />Retain flat beds, mustang front end loader. <br />Days 7 and 8 <br />Remove water tank and lead man will direct and supervise track loader operator for final grade and top soil for <br />reclamation. <br />Final removal and site clean up and restoration. Bring site to final and finish grade using track loader.
