Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald UV. Cottony
Division Director
Natur?I Resource Trustee
The Division has reviewed the shove referenced technical revision application, and we are
largely in concurrence with the study recommendations, fur understanding based on your
email of August 'i 1, 20a9, is that the scope of the Panel ?? ? study will be expanded to
incorporate the additional slide features to the east of Pond g? A, and that the final remediation
plan gill encompass the entire slide complex in the vicinity of Ponds 4? ?, 0? GA, and the nearby
shrub establishment area. fur further understanding is that the Pond 0? ??0? The amended Tab 2g table of contents page ii lists Attachment ?0-D as "Shrub Plot
Slide Remediatian Plan" and Attachr?ent ?0-E a "Panel ??fi Slide Remediatian Plans",
The inserkion instructions are to insert the new material as Attachment ??yD, which is
confusing, because the focus of the study plan submitted is an the Panel ?? 6 slide area
rather than the shrub plat slide area.
Based an email correspondence, best approach might be to have a single Attachment
?2Q-D}, titled "Pond o1 GI01 ?A Area Slide Stabilization Plan", or something similar.
Attachment ?g-E would then be unnecessary. Please address the discrepancy
between the TO page and the insertion instructions and revise a necessary.
Office of Office of
Mined hand Reclarnat[on Denver • Grand Junction ?
