These substances are classified as petroleum oil or derivatives. <br />All of the tanks and the ongoing procedures for inspections and maintenance will be in <br />compliance with the SPCC plan for the site. If any fuel spill is encountered, the material will be <br />removed from the site, as stated in the SPCC plan. Also, the Division will be notified in case of <br />any spills on site. The portable mining equipment such as loaders, dozers, and trucks will be <br />serviced on an ad hoc basis from portable service trucks making short visits to the site until the <br />completion of Phase 1. Throughout Phase 2 and reclamation, equipment will be maintained at the <br />on-site facilities. <br />Power is available from the lines that are currently running adjacent to the property. These lines <br />will not be modified as part of the permit. All existing fencing will stay in place. No problems <br />are expected with vandalism. <br />LaSalle Pit, April 09 D-6
