DRMS traveled to the site. Hirt with Weld Count% %lining foreman <br />Grew Nelson. and toured the site with hint at approximately 12100. <br />The proposed site is located at the nortimcst corner ol'the intersection of Weld County roads 90 and )7. Weld <br />County Is permitting the entire section at that location. The notification ol'proposed mining site sign was <br />observed at the intersection, and the extent ofthc site was marked a10m1 the colulty roads at tills tilllc. <br />The site is verv level L11-01.1nd \\ith the exception ofthe existing! Lone Tree Crock channel. which runs through <br />the site from north to south. The creek was dry at the time ofthe inspection. Fills channel is an Intermittent <br />stream and only tlo\\s during tinles ofheavv precipitation. Inlet and outlet structures are planned for the <br />existing channel. and the site may also serv°e as flood control durinu, times of hcavv precipitation. <br />The entire site. \\it}1 the exception ofthe stream Channel itself'. is currently cultivated ill \\liltcl' wheat. Farming <br />is expected to C(llltilllle oil the \west side of the site lnltil that area is acti\'cly mined. "l he surrounding property <br />oil all sides of till' site is also cultivated farm laud at this time.
