Laver Associates on behalf of Bowie lesaurccs, y <br />comrrients and observations regarding eotechnical portions of the application are detailed in the <br />paragraphs below. <br />TR-~~ seeks to increase the mailable volume of oai Mine V~aste Disposal Area No. 4 <br />~wDA-4} from ~4~,~~~ cubic yards to 45,~~~ cubic yards. This proposed Increase is <br />accomplished by modifying the approved dimensions of MwDA-4. peci~cally, the upper <br />elevation has been adjusted from 6228' down to 6~~4' ar~d e toe has been extended further <br />down the slope to elevation 674' rather than the ~ 1 ~0' currently shown in the permit. The <br />resultant overall height frarn toe to crest will increase from 11 S feet to 1~~ feet. As illustrated an <br />revised Section D-~' of Volume I~ Figure l ,three separate beaches are proposed far the outer <br />face ofthepile - at approximate elevations of608~}, ~1~~' and 6174'.
