It is determined that the above source is one of the listed sources that is specifically <br />exempt from permit requirements (per Regulation No. 3, Part B, II.D.1.g.) However,filing of an APEN is required <br />as the emissions exceed the APEN thresholds. <br />This exemption from permit requirements is issued in reliance upon the accuracy and completeness of <br />information supplied by the applicant, and is conditioned upon construction, installation, and operation in <br />accordance with this information and with representations made by the applicant or applicant's agents. <br />Specifically, this exemption has been granted provided that the following information is accurate and complete: <br />Mining activities are less than 70,000 tons per year. <br />Estimatr:d emissions at the requested mining activity of 70,00u tons per year are: <br />Particulate Matter - Fugitive: 11.5 tons per year. <br />PM10 (Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometers): 4.7 tons per year. <br />This permit exemption is for mining activities only.
