Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imams CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and nwat be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase )fig be in the D-s d? er . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multiage documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Pichue and Fax Viewer" or 'Taint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfaaView", which can be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such u "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inductions: 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which nuns the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. Uthe Autoiun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document imago cam be viewed V the reception area of the DRMS offte or tkey can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purckase cost covers tke time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot provide computer related support.
