In their letter dated August 31, 2009 CAM regaesWd the <br />application to be withdrawn. Governor <br />Harris D. Sherman <br />Executive Director <br />The proposed Red Cliff Mine is located in Garfield and Mesa County, approximately 14 m& <br />nai5,4aof <br />the town of Loma, and 1.5 miles east of Colorado State Highway (SH) 139. The undergroundigaperratti@n <br />had an anticipated maximum production capacity of 8.0 million tons per year. Coal intereYetYs l feffl ffaf rustee <br />and the surface to be affected is federal land. The proposed permit area encompasses approximately <br />6,300 acres. <br />Copies of the proposed decision to withdraw the application are on file for public inspection at the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office, 544 Rood Ave., <br />Grand Junction, CO. Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision <br />may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed decision.
