Cattany <br /> Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />RE: Proposed and Final Decision <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 5 (RN-5) <br />Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) <br />Dear Sir or Madam, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposed to approve a renewal application <br />for a coal mining and reclamation permit submitted by Trapper Mining Inc., on June 20, 2007 for the <br />Trapper Mine Inc. accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. This is a notice of the proposed decision made on <br />July 25, 2008 and a final decision made on September 10, 2008. The Division inadvertently failed to <br />notify subsurface owners at the time of the decision. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 6 miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2 and 3 Township 5 North Range 91 West of the 6th PM <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 31 Township 6th North Range 90 West of the 6th PM <br />Portions of Sections 25, 26, 28, 33, 34, 35 and 36 Township 6 North Range 91 West of the 6th PM <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above <br />address and at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder.
