Cattany Division Director Natural Resource Trustee RE: Proposed and Final Decision Permit Renewal Application No. 5 (RN-5) Trapper Mine (Permit No. C-1981-010) Dear Sir or Madam, The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposed to approve a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit submitted by Trapper Mining Inc., on June 20, 2007 for the Trapper Mine Inc. accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. This is a notice of the proposed decision made on July 25, 2008 and a final decision made on September 10, 2008. The Division inadvertently failed to notify subsurface owners at the time of the decision. The surface mine is located approximately 6 miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Sections 1, 2 and 3 Township 5 North Range 91 West of the 6th PM Portions of Sections 30 and 31 Township 6th North Range 90 West of the 6th PM Portions of Sections 25, 26, 28, 33, 34, 35 and 36 Township 6 North Range 91 West of the 6th PM Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder. A Copy of the Division's "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance" is also available at those locations.
