Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
We have received your minor revision application to revise your permit to conduct coal mining in Colorado.
Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining
Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101 et seq., C.R.S., have been submitted. Thus, your application has been
considered complete for the purposes of filing as of December 26, 2007. All review and comment periods as
provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
The Division has reviewed your revision application to determine whether the items you have submitted are
adequate in terms of meeting the requirements of the Act and Regulations. This revision updates the Mine
identification signs and the Blasting warning signs. TMI updates Map M7 showing the locations of sign
placement. Signs will be situated at all public road accesses on to the mine site in accordance with Rules
4.02.1, 4.02.2 and 4.02.6.
Please note that there is a typographical error on Figure 3.1-2; the caption below the "Danger Blasting
Area" has been misspelled as, "posted on all mine roads within 50' of blating area". Please correct this
page.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
H.
