C1982-056
9/3/2009
4. Revised page 2.05-74.2 has lost text previously approved during TR66 (page revised date 2/17/09).
The paragraph discussing the "light use road to 18-Left Ventilation Shaft Installation" has been
eliminated with the TR69 revised text. Please reinstate this previously approved information.
5. TCC provided a reclamation cost estimate for the proposed activity. The Division has evaluated
TCC's estimate and has evaluated reclamation costs using the CIRCES program. The Division's
estimate was less than TCC's. TCC's reclamation cost estimate is acceptable. Please find a copy of
DRMS's estimate for the tasks proposed for TR69 attached to this letter. If TCC prefers to use the
Division's estimate, please resubmit revised pages to be inserted into the Foidel Creek permit.
The proposed approval date for TR69 is October 5, 2009. Please provide the requested information to the
Division by September 24, 2009, to allow the Division time to review TCC's response. The Division
previously forwarded comments from the Colorado Division of Water Resources and Colorado State Historic
Preservation Officer. Please assure that TCC addresses any concerns identified by those agencies as well.
Sincerely,
Janet H. mns"
Enviro ental Protection Specialist II
3567 ext. 8107
