A check for $791 is also enclosed to cover the
annual report fee.
This annual report covers the time period from September 21, 2008 to September 20, 2009.
Mining activities during the last year have been confined to an area in the southern portion of the
pit (see attached map). Recent mining activities have generally continued in a westerly direction.
Mining activities during the upcoming year will continue to be in the southern portion of the pit.
Reclamation activities are ongoing. Backfilling and sloping of the center section of the eastern
pit boundary is in progress (see attached map). Reclamation in this area has progressed in a
northerly direction. Backfilling of the previously mined southeastern portion of the pit boundary
is also in progress (see attached map). The bottom of the pit is currently being used for
processing and stockpiling. As the final configuration of the pit lake is reached, the banks will
continue to be rough graded to achieve appropriate slopes.
Please call me at (303)452-6611 if you have any questions or need additional information.
Sincerely,
Applegate Group, Inc
Jared Dains, E.I.
nS
Water Resource Engineer
JMD/ta
Ends.
cc: Lori Bucklen, Bucklen Equipment Company
AG File #07-148
NA07148 Bucklen Annual ReporMisciplines (Technical)\Mine Planning\Report\2009 Bucklen Annual Report.docx
1499 West 120th Avenue, Suite 200 (303) 452-6611 • Fax (303) 452-2759
Denver, Colorado 80234-2759 www.applegategroup.com
