than enough additional capacity within the ditch to accommodate the 1.11 cfs flowrate <br />from the dewatering operations within the proposed mining pit. <br />Additionally, the velocity of flow within the ditch at four feet of depth is 1.99 ft/s. In my <br />phone conversation with Allen, we discussed this velocity and came to the conclusion <br />that this velocity would not be ersosive to the ditch. Further, the ditch has been <br />established for over sixty years with heavy vegetation that provides a significant buffer <br />against erosion. I have included a few pictures of the ditch for a visual confirmation of <br />the vegetation, as well as attached the Hydraflow Express output for the modeling of the <br />seep ditch flowing at six inches, two feet, and four feet of depth.
