PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Western Fuels-Colorado, A Limited Liability Company (WFC), has filed with the Division <br />of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) an application for a Technical Revision to the <br />New Horizon Mine Permit No. C-81-008. The Technical Revision is to change the surface <br />water sampling plan for upstream and downstream of the mine. <br />The New Horizon Mine is located at 27646 West 5TH Street, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, <br />Colorado. Telephone number (970) 864-2165. The revision pertains to an area within: <br />Section 1, T46N, R16W <br />Section 6, T46N, R15W <br />Section 31, T47N, R15W <br />Section 36, T46N, R16W. <br />The 7.5 minute USGS Nucla Quadrangle map shows the above described area. <br />A copy of the complete technical revision application is available for public inspection at <br />the Montrose County Courthouse Annex, Nucla, Colorado. Written comments or <br />objections to the application may be submitted to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br />Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (Tel 303-866-3567). <br />Written comments and objections must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety within 10 days after the publication of the above notice.
