AUG 312009 t? Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imaging CD (or DVD): 9ivibi®fi of Reclamation, 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer MIMVi a 4fORMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m" be in the A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the.tif extension. There needs to be on image viewing application for.tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "h&nVfew", which can be downloaded from IrfuiView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be coudgumd as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. Then are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". !m'iL' 1Or?ii 1. Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD ipto the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuIckView, setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT wok, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. Instructions for momially installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. The Fernlt File document Images cam be viewed In the reception area of the DRMS office or tbey can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD. DRMS cannot provide computer related support.
