Radon <br />kadon 222 is monitored quarterly with alpha-track type radon detectors at the two (2) perimeter <br />air monitorim, locations. Locations may have changed over the years. Cun-ent locations are <br />depicted on Figure 0- 1. AS Creek is near the waste pile and in a relatively low spot adjacent to <br />Ralston Creek which nuly account for the elevated readings and is related mining activity. <br />Historical data indicate that this is not an environmental concern but could be an occupational <br />concern. Subsequently, a three-one ( I ) hour WL nleaSurl'nlent were done with results less than <br />0.002 WL. There appears to he no exposure concern.
