Room 215 <br />Denver, CO. 80203 <br />RE: Inspections of Phillips County Gravel Pits <br />completed on July 23, 2009 <br />Dear Mr. Scott, <br />XA <br />Divis-„o C, <br />Your recent gravel pit inspection created a compliance list, which our county personnel have <br />/been working on. The following actions have been taken: <br />/Kennedy Pit (M-1990-316) <br />1. The Road Foreman ordered new gravel pit signs from a sign fabricator. The signs are to <br />be delivered on August 31, 2009. We will install the new sign and provide a picture as <br />soon as it is put in place. <br />2. A notice of intent to bring inert concrete onto the site was filed and mailed August 25, <br />2009. <br />Johnson Pit (M-1994-007) <br />1. The permit boundaries have been marked. Pictures are attached. <br />2. Our Weed Manager has been treating this pit for Canadian Thistle on an annual basis. <br />See attached notes from last year.
