Although the gravel pit will <br />encompass an increased area, the expansion is not anticipated to increase operations or generate any additional vehicle <br />------------------_.. <br />traffic. Rather, the expansion will allow the pit to remain in operation for a longer duration of time. The current Spring Creek <br />Pit encompasses approximately 103 acres. The two adjacent expansion sites will increase that by 97 acres, for a total of <br />approximately 200 acres.
