Hovuever, we have a
caupie questions regarding specific aspects of the amended Tab ? text.
1. The narrative under "Revegetation ?Ilonitoring" an amended pages ? ?-?? and ? ?-??
indicates that the periodic quantitative vegetation monitoring that has previously been
conducted would be discontinued. However, there is still a brief section on amended
page ? 3-?6 that addresses sampling parameters for quantitative monitoring ?caver and
production}, which would seem to imply that some quantitative monitoring would be
continued. This seems to be contradictory.
Please clarify whether interim quantitative monitoring would ?e continued. If sv,
please provide further detail regarding the periodic arr?pling interval,
methodologies and inter?aity, if interim monitoring would not be continued,
please delete the section beginning with j`The following discussion...' and
continuing through the end of the `i5ampling Parameters" section on amended
page ??-?6.
Under "Annual Reporting" on amended page 1 ?-?6t item ? references a[fa?lfa monitoring
and ?Iladge Pasture graying Appendix ? -4?, The Item also includes the Hate that "area
has received Phase II band release and has been transferred to gage creek Baal
company permit".
fur understanding is thatthe wadge Pasture grazing plan targeted to control alfalfa and
the associated monitoring of alfalfa composition is no longer a permit requirement, sa
inclusion of the corr?rnitment under ltern would appear to be s relict thatsl?auld be
deleted. There i a comr?itmentto provide documentation regarding "results of annual
grazing and management in the annual reclamation reports" under "Postrnining Land
Use I?enagement" an page ?3-? of the approved PAP. since na portion of the Seneca I
permit area has yet been transferred into the age creek asl company permit, the
reference to said transfer should be deleted.
office of office of
Mined hand Reclamation Denver ?
