The samples were ground to meet the specifications in the letter where <br />the samples were ground so that the particles were <60 mesh. <br />EPA Method 1312, Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure, was carried out on the samples. <br />The samples were free of liquid and were determined to contain <050% liquids. <br />Samples were extracted for 19 hours using Extraction Fluid #2 per EPA method requirements. <br />Starting pH of extraction fluid #2: 5.01 12/21/2008 <br />Sample Identification and beginning pH after initial introduction of extraction fluid: <br />Ore 5.43 12/21/2008 <br />Waste 5.46 12/21/2008 <br />Ending pH after 19 hours of rotation with extraction fluid #2: <br />Ore 6.55 12/22/2008 <br />Waste 7.48 12/22/2008 <br />Final pH for metals fraction after addition of HN03 : <br />Ore 1.89 12/22/2008 <br />Waste 1.77 12/2212008
