The sample was ground to meet the <br />specifications in the letter where the sample was ground so that the particles were <60 <br />mesh. <br />EPA Method 1312, Synthetic Leaching Procedure, was carried out on the sample. The <br />sample was free of 'liquid and was determine to contain <0.50% liquids. <br />The sample was extracted for 19 hours using Extraction Fluid #2 per EPA method <br />requirements. <br />Starting pH of extraction fluid #2: 5.02 03/14/2009 <br />Beginning pH after; initial introduction of extraction fluid: <br />Tailings <br />3.89 03/14/2009 <br />Ending pH after 191ours of rotation with extraction fluid #2: <br />Tailings <br />3.52 03/15/2009 <br />Final pH for metals, fraction after addition of HN03: <br />Tailings <br />1.77 03/15/2009
