Moffat Area (SL-11) permanent final pit down drain, down drain #4, down drain #3, down drain #2 and <br />down drain #1 were stable with no evidence of erosional features or gullying. <br /> <br />The May 18th, 2009 Complete Inspection of the Edna Mine showed evidence of a head cut <br />forming above the Moffat Pond access road between Moffat down drain #4 and #2. This <br />head cut has been remediated and rip rapped repair had been conducted at the base of the <br />drainage. The rip-rap material was large, >6" angular competent rock, and the extent of this <br />rip-rapped area extended -25 ft. X 10 ft. The repair work was functioning as designed and <br />stable with no further problems noted at the time of the inspection. <br />
