Landslide above Original Aspen Plot— A-Pit
The D-Pit Landslide was viewed from a distance (Photo 8). There is a noticeable crack
across the top, but the displacement does not appear to be severe. It may be reasonable to
monitor the slide for a time, and see if it stabilizes itself. It would be a good idea to ensure
that no surface drainage from above is able to flow down onto the slide area and into the
open crack(s).
D- Pit Landslide
This slide, viewed from the road, appeared to have only short sections of escarpment, with
little displacement (Photo 9). It is probably too soon to tell if it has stabilized; the site should
continue to be monitored.
/{ J
A i$^ a
{ w
I•
I
Photo 1 — Pond 016 Landslide (Pond 016 lies outside of photo, to left)
