Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a revision for the West Elk Mine. The <br />revision was called complete on August 14, 2009. The decision due date is October 13, 2009. <br />The operator proposes to construct a coal wash plant and coal handling equipment within the main <br />facilities area of the mine. This new construction will be on previously disturbed privately-owned land. <br />This revision is available for review at the Gunnison County Planning Department, 201 E.
