I" Mailing: January 7, 2008 2"" Mailing: February 29, 2008 PROJECT: 191-144
PROJECT DESIGNATION: Chevron Mining Inc., Edna Mine COUNTY: Routt
I (we), the undersigned landowner(s) or agent submit these comments to Chevron Mining Inc./WWC
Engineering pertaining to MR-53, the proposed permanent retention of the West Ridge diversion
ditch located on my property.
I agree with the permanent retention of the West Ridge diversion ditch.
It I disagree with the permanent retention of the West Ridge diversion ditch because,
(Please till in Comments below)
COMMENTS:
Mr. Andrew M. Hunter III does not object to the West Ridge Diversion Ditch and Sediment Pond
remaining as permanent structures after the reclamation of the Edna Mine is complete, so long as
certain conditions are met. Specifically, Mr. Hunter requests that terms and conditions be created
to ensure that Chevron Mining Inc. is held responsible for any repairs and/or maintenance
necessary to keep the pond and ditch in good working order. Mr. Hunter also requests that there
be limitations imposed regarding entry onto his property by Chevron Mining Inc. or any alternate
entity responsible for repairing and maintaining the ditch and pond, such as a) requiring any such
entity to provide 24 hours notice of entry onto the property, b) limiting any such entity to a work
area consisting of 25 feet on both sides of the center line of the ditch and around the
circumference of the pond, and c) requiring any such entity to return any area where work has
been conducted to its original appearance.
?V-
612-338-2799
Landowner Phone
Landowner Phone
Lessee Phone
