Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division proposed to transfer the Edna Strip Mine coal mining and reclamation permit, No. C-1980-001 <br />to Chevron Mining, Inc. from The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co. on January 31, 2008. The surface <br />coal mine is located in Routt County, approximately 5 miles northwest of Oak Creek, Colorado. The coal to <br />be mined is under Federal ownership and the surface is under Federal, state and private ownership. A copy <br />of the proposed decision is enclosed. <br />In accordance with Rule 2.08.6(6), any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the <br />proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) <br />days of this notice by the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Jason D.
