On behalf of Bowie Resources LLC, enclosed is an application for Technical Revision to
incorporate drawings into the permit application package that show the 3H:1 V slopes on
the upper portions of coal mine waste (Gob) disposal area number 4. The following
items have been amended;
TR-Revisions:
1. Map 15-3 was revised to show the revised 3:1 slope for Gob pile #4.
2. Map 22-C was revised. "D" ditches were added to the ditch summary list and a
note was added for the "F" ditches to see Figure 3 in Volume IX. Sections A-A,
B-B and C-C were re-done based on as-built topography.
3. Map 21-3 was revised to show the revised 3:1 slope for Gob pile #4.
4. The text in Volume IX has been revised to account for the larger storage volume
of Gob pile #4 based on the increased slope angle and overall pile height, please
see pages 1-14.
5. Portions of Appendix B have been revised to account for the new drainage
configuration, and two ditches were added, F20 & F21. "F" ditches 2, 3, 5, 7 12,
20, 21 & West Div. #2, along with Pond F PHC, and Subwatershed Hydrology
Detail have been revised and are included as pages; App. B-1 thru 9, 1313,
1314, 1316, 1318, B23, 30i, 30ii 34, 34i, 35-38i, respectively. App. B-40 has been
revised to show the peak flow used to size the emergency spillway. The PHC for
Pond D has been revised and is included as Exh. 8-17 to 20. "D" ditches 3, 5, 6,
7 &8 were revised and are included as pages Exh. 8-74ix, 74x, and 74xi. The
Ditch Summary sheet for Volume 3 has been revised please see page Exh. 8-
291. The 25-year flow data for Pond D has been revised and is attached as page
