Roadside North and South Mines, The Annual Reclamation Report vas submitted in timely manner and included the required standardised reporting form, narrative, a detailed reclamation map, and seed tag documentation. During 2008, seeding eras completed at the South Portal and the "" Substation vas removed, graded to appro?in?ate original contours and seeded. The reclaimed area at "C" Substation 1s 0.5 acres and is shown on the 2008 Annual Reclamation Map and reported an the standardized form. overall, the report vas ?eI1 organized and the documentation. presented rn the report is adequate to meet the requirements of 2.04.13. Plo?vever, the D?v?slan has ldent?fied an error on the standardised form as described below in the following comment. l , There appears to be au error in reporting the values for acreage inlong-term mining or reclamation facilities an both the 2007 and 2005 standardized forms. The standardized form vas developed so that every acre of disturbance is accounted for and falls into one of three categories; Acreage ?n active mining area?A.}, Cumulative total of acres back?illed and graded?B}, or Acreage in Tong-terra mining or reclamation facilities?C}. one simple formula to follov? so that the values are correctly reported is A+B+C=D, where D is the Cumulative total acres disturbed. ?n the ?0?7 ARR standardized form the 11.7 acres bacl?filled and graded for the year should have been subtracted from the Acreage inlong-term minilag ox reclamation facilities. Thus the value for Acreage ire long-term mining or reclarr?ation facilities should be X4.2 acres instead of 105.9. Lil?e?ise, on the 2005 form the 0.5 acres bacl?filled and graded far the gear should have been subtracted from the Acreage in long-texna mining or reclamation faclllt?cs.
