Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W_ Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Computer requirements to use the DRMS document imaging CD (or DVD):
1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DRMS imaging CD
the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software.
2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD.
3. The CD will contain files with the ,tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that
will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. Alter downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DRMS does not support or endorse
this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as
"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows".
Instructions:
1. Insert the CD into your computer.
