1. Effluent Limitations -The data shown in the preceding table(s) indicate that the New Elk Mine has maintained
compliance with the previous permit.
The permittee has submitted DMR data late on several occasions including:
At Outfall 001A, June 2007, All pollutants
At Outfall 007A, September 2003, EffluentJlow only
At Outfall 008A, September 2003, Effluent flow only
At the time of preparation of this permit, these late data submittals were still unresolved.
The permittee has been in apparent compliance with all other terms and conditions of the permit.
VI. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PERMIT
A. Determination of Effluent Limitations
1. Effluent Limitations - The effluent limitations contained in Tables VI-1 through VI-9 will apply and are discussed in
Sections including VI.A.2.c. (limits based on federal standards), VI.A.2.d. (limits based on narrative standards), VI.A.2.e.
(limits based on numeric water quality standards), VI.A.2.f. (whole effluent toxicity) and VI.A.3. (limits for discharges to
ground water).
