Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division proposed to transfer the Bowie No. 1 Mine coal mining and reclamation permit, No. C- <br />1981-038 to Bowie Resources, LLC from Bowie Resources, LLC on July 28, 2009. The underground <br />coal mine is located in Delta County, approximately 3 miles north of Paonia, Colorado. The coal to be <br />mined is under Federal and private ownership and the surface is under Federal and private ownership.
