Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
Awater- PW ll type w will he used in the rillina operations A hnish hnq (or similar
equipment) will clear the paths to the drill sites when appropriate, otherwise a dozer will be
used to clear the locations and build the drill pads and containment pits. If needed, water
use or drilling an other activities will be hauled by truck to the drill site from the nearest
available source, well, or public water systems (e.g. Rangely or Meeker).
1. Describe and locate any structures to be constructed (i.e. stockpiles, ponds, impoundments):
Work facilities will be located on site for use during the drilling/coring and hydrology testing
operations. No permanent structures or production facilities are planned. Surface vegetation and
suil removed hoin the nrawly conshauted access mads and the diiii pads will be stockpiled adjacent-
W the roam and the drill pads Tbp tnosoil nille will be coyere it erosion control material
J. Describe anticipated relationship to surface water and groundwater (proximity to streams, penetration of ground
water aquifers):
_Refer to the attached Vicinity & other topo maps which show the location of each drill pad
and access road in relationship to streams. A schematic of a typical drill hole which
identifies ta water bearing intervals is shown in Figure , , .
IV. OPERATION AND RECLAMATION MEASURES:
1. The Board suggests that a photographic record of the pre-prospecting and post-prospecting conditions be kept by the
prospector. These photos should be taken from the same location and by the same method to clearly show the pre-prospecting
condition of the land and the reclamation efforts. Upon completion of reclamation and request for bond or surety release, the
Board may consider the photos as evidence of adequate reclamation, and thus, be able to act more quickly on the request for
release.
2. Provide a description of the native vegetation of the area to be disturbed, including tree, shrub, and grass communities of the
area. Color photographs, sufficient to adequately represent the ecology of the site and adequately labeled (including date,
orientation and location), may be used in lieu of a written description. Based on the quality of the photographs, the Division
may require additional detail.
Please see attached Page 13 for description under Heading IV Operation and Reclamation
measures.
