13 <br />6.E. No chemicals will be stored on site. It may be necessary to store fuel on <br />site, if that is the case it will be contained in a double-walled tank, drip pans and <br />containment will be used during re-fueling. The rig will require the use of engine <br />oil, hydraulic oil, and lubricants, however these will be stored on the rig while the <br />rig is on site. A fuel truck will be temporarily located at the drill pad during drilling <br />operations to provide fuel to the drill rigs. The rig may require use of Rock Drill Oil <br />(RDO 302 ES) during drilling. The Rock Oil is vegetable oil based and does not <br />contain any hazardous or controlled products. A foaming agent may be required to <br />remove cuttings from the holes. All of the pads covered under this NOI are located within sagebrush parks <br />and pinyon/juniper woodlands. The upland sagebrush is fairly uniform across most <br />of the pads. <br />4. All holes will be plugged to surface using inert fill and cement plugs to <br />isolate the water bearing zones. All material and plugging methods will conform <br />to Rule 5.4 of the Hard Rock/Metal Mining Rules and Regulations, and to any <br />additional standards imposed by the Bureau of Land Management, county, and <br />local ordinances or regulations.
