B. New disturbances anticipated during the upcoming year
CSQ anticipates the dumping of no more than 10,000 tons of waste rock on waste pile.
In last year's report, it was mentioned that Management had decided to try to crush and sell products
that were considered waste. This proved economically unfeasible. However, due to the large amount
of waste stone we will need to create ramps to access levels in the quarry, we will be using much of the
stone that would typically be waste.
C. Reclamation to be performed in the coming year
CSQ plans to modify and re-establish sediment containment area near the toe of the waste pile. Other
sediment areas outside the portal and quarry town area are sufficient. CSQ will also continue
monitoring the test plot and other natural spots where vegetation is growing.
D. Sufficiency of Value of Financial Warrantee
We have had no significant increase in the size of the waste pile in tonnage or area. Even though the
change in the permit is in the company plans, as this time the financial warranty of $40,258 should not
need adjustment.
Report approved by:
23-?ULv
Denis Doucet, General Manager Date
