By rule no equipment or disturbance can be moved on site until the bond is accepted by the Division as
the Notice is not officially approved until the bond is in place. I'll try for right after lunch but it depends on other issues on
my desk as well.
From: Martin Bauer [mailto:rockymfp@comcast.net]
Sent: Sunday, July 12, 2009 6:54 PM
To: Means, Russ
Subject: Jubilee Venture LLC/Bond
Dear Russ,
Met with Jennifer Thursday July9, 2009.
She wanted the following modifications.
Could not park the motor home on BLM property.
2. Limited our drilling to 40 holes.
3. She would like an additional bond amount for the area we will be drilling in, (use of the road) and
transporting the samples back to the plant.
We conceded to not parking the motor home on BLM property.
Regarding the 40 drill holes her comment was "she wanted to see what and how we proceeded with the
reclamation of those 40 drill holes before we would be able to proceed with the next 40.
We agreed to those changes. I struck the motor home paragraph and made a written concession to the 40 drill
holes. It appears this would change the entire bond amount. Myself, William Collins, and Philip Farney agreed to
allow the bond amount as originally calculated by you on the 80 drill holes stand. I do not know if we need to do a
modification for the remaining 40 drill holes or not.
As written in the report given to the BLM and a copy I e-mailed to you, that was prepared by William Collins, the
samples will be transported by a four wheeler with a small trailer. Road impact should be minimal by this method.
Additionally, we should only be traveling about 1/8 mile from drill site to the plant at the most.
We asked Jennifer if she was satisfied with everything else and she said she was.
I asked her to e-mail you with her concurrence of our project and she said she would send it out that Thursday.
She also said if we did not hear from her by the 13th of July we were good to go. As of this date there has been
no written correspondence from the BLM-on anything.
I would ask you, if you could prepare the final bond amount and forward the information to me as soon as you are
able to.
I would also ask if it would be possible to move equipment to the site. Again I understand we would not be able to
do any work until the bond is paid.
We are able to hand deliver the certified funds as soon as we have the number.
Thank you for your time and patience.
Sincerely,
Martin R Bauer,General Partner
7/13/2009
