Composition <br />Hodden soil <br />Characteristics of the Hodden Soil <br />Landforms: Fan terraces <br />Parent material: Alluvium, glacial outwash <br />Native plant community type: Grass <br />Typical Profile: <br />0 to 4 inches=brown sandy loam <br />4 to 8 inches=brown very gravelly sandy loam <br />8 to 18 inches=very gravelly sandy loam <br />18 to 30 inches=very gravelly coarse sandy loam <br />30 to 60 inches= extremely gravelly coarse sandy loam <br />Depth class: Very deep <br />Drainage class: Well <br />Permeability: Moderate <br />Available water capacity: Low <br />Potential rooting depth: 60 or more inches <br />Runoff. Slow to medium <br />Hazard of water erosion (no plant cover): Slight to moderate <br />Vegetation <br />The vegetation at this site was characterized by a preponderance of Arizona <br />fescue and mountain muntly, with prairie june grass, western wheatETass and <br />some blue grama and fringed sagebrush also present. The site is quite level and is <br />just West of middle of South Platte River. These vegetation and types and yields <br />are included in the report attached. Provided by Leon S. There is a paved road to the north of the permit boundary eight (8) feet away <br />called Tristan Loop and there are seven homes across the road within 200 feet <br />which are vacant at the time of this report. Agreement letter will be sent out to all <br />land owners and man-made structures owners. There will be a 25 foot No Mining <br />zone between the boundary line and the proposed pit where a top soiit berm will <br />be pushed up around the permit boundary and for Stormwater Discharge Permit. <br />Also, a ground stability engineer will be providing a report.
