amec'? <br />SECTION 02608.0 PEPE BOLLARDS <br />PART 1: GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />Pipe guards shall consist of steel pipe backfilled with concrete. <br />1.02 RELATED SECTIONS <br />Refer to the following Sections for related work: <br />¦ Section 03300.0 - Cast-in-Place Concrete <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. CONTRACTOR shall abide by all qualification and submittal requirements in Section 01300.0. <br />B. CONTRACTOR shall provide product data to allow evaluation by MANAGER and <br />CERTIFYING ENGINEER. <br />1.04 TOLERANCES <br />Pipe bollards shall be constructed and placed as shown on the DRAWINGS. <br />1.05 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />Any work found unsatisfactory or any work disturbed by subsequent operations before acceptance is granted <br />shall be corrected by CONTRACTOR as directed by MANAGER. <br />PART 2: PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Cast-in-place concrete used to fill pipe bollards shall be concrete as specified in Section 03300.0. <br />B. Pipe shall be 36 kips per square inch (ksi) standard steel pipe, with a nominal diameter of 6-inches, <br />and a minimum wall thickness of 0.28-inches. <br />PART 3 SUMMARY <br />3.01 EXECUTION <br />A. Install pipe bollards to depths and in locations as shown on DRAWINGS. <br />B.
