Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received Technical Revision No. 2 (TR-02) to the <br />Bumgardner Ranches Gravel Pit, Permit No. M-1980-027, on July 7, 2009. The application was deemed <br />incomplete for purposes of filing for the following reasons; <br />lilo Insufficient payment of the $216.00 application fee. Please submit the technical revision, <br />application fee to the Division. <br />2. Please provide the Division with proof of an APEN permit for the concrete batch plant from the <br />Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. <br />3. Please provide the Division with proof of a storm water and spill control plan for the concrete <br />batch plant from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. <br />DMJ General Contractors, Inc. (DMJ) submitted a letter dated July 3, 2009 committing to keep the <br />affected land disturbance at the site to nine (9) acres at all times and requested the bond amount <br />remain at the current amount of $20,976. Please include the reduction of the maximum disturbance <br />from fifteen (15) to nine (9) acres in the technical revision submittal. The Division would like to remind <br />DMJ that the affected land acreage must include the haul road, pit area and any other mining related <br />disturbances. <br />The Division recalculated the reclamation cost estimate for the Bumgardner Ranches Gravel Pit based <br />on previous inspection and the nine (9) acre maximum disturbance commitment by DMJ. The Division <br />estimates the cost to reclaim the site is $25,000. A copy of the estimate will be mailed under separate <br />cover. <br />Please submit the technical revision application fee and required documentation on or before August <br />10, 2009.
