Between <br />2000 and the autumn of 2002, the average TDS value was approximately 1550 mg/1. <br />Subsequent to that time the TDS levels have averaged approximately 1100 mg/1 with less <br />fluctuation in level values over the year. <br />Magnesium <br />Magnesium concentration levels have decreased over time and become less variable. <br />Between 2000 and the summer of 2002, concentrations fluctuated significantly. Since <br />June 2002, magnesium concentrations have remained very low (averaging 0.7 mg/1) and <br />remaining between 0.5 and 1.0 mg/1. <br />Given the lack of changes to the character of the Haugen well, the cessation of mining at <br />the King I Mine and the change of ownership of the well, GCC Energy requests the <br />termination of the requirement to monitor the Haugen well, and the removal of the well <br />from the groundwater monitoring program until 2 years prior to a final bond release <br />application.. <br />Enclosed are two copies of the revised permit page, a proposed public notice, and a revision <br />application.
