d) The pre-existing one lane road to the pit will be left existing when reclamation is done.
e) Waste rock piles will be hauled for use in county ditches, etc. where needed for fill material. This operation will use
berms to minimize hydrologic balance and provide for a stable configuration consistent with the proposed future
land use.
f) The post mine land use is expected to be rangeland due to the topopgraphy being too rough for farming
g)To the extent that overburden below the topsoil exists and is stockpiled, that portion will be spread evenly
across the area being reclaimed. The topsoil berm will be spread at least 6 inches over the entire area
being reclaimed, including pit floor.
g) We expect to have to fence off the immediate area which is being reclaimed keep livestock from spoiling
The growth of new vegetative cover
h) After having mined an area of approximately 10 acres, we will then start reclaiming area by splitting
roughly half of the mined area off and replacing overburden and topsoil then fertilizing, seeding, then
fencing the area off for protection if livestock threatens the new growth . As we mine more area, we will
reclaim in 5 acre increments, thereby having no more than 20 acres disturbed at any one time.
