MANAGEMENT <br />Rece,V,,D <br />'OV 2 3 ,?00, <br />Division Of Reciam <br />Mining and Safety on. <br />The McClane Canyon Mine has recently generated some high ash coal which is not <br />marketable. The Operator needs a location to store the high ash coal until a permanent <br />coal mine waste disposal area is permitted and constructed. On behalf of McClane <br />Canyon Mining LLC, enclosed is an application for a minor revision to expand the <br />sediment drying area. The high ash coal will be stored in the expanded sediment <br />drying area until the permanent coal mine waste disposal area is constructed. <br />The sediment drying area will be expanded to the south. The expanded area will <br />encompass approximately 0.1 acres. The ephemeral channel will be routed around the <br />drying area as shown of Figure 2.2.2, similar to the way it is routed around the drying <br />area, topsoil and construction material stockpiles today. <br />Pages 2-27, 2-35, 2-38 and Figure 2.2.2 are provided to support this minor revision.
