Sherman
Executive Director
Dick Wolfe, P.E.
Director/State Engineer
The Division of Water Resources has reviewed the Foidel Creek Mine (Permit No. C-1982-056) for the
Technical Revision Application No. 67 (TR-67). The application proposes to expand the existing coal
refuse disposal area from the currently approved 3 Million cubic yard volume to a maximum of 20 Million
cubic yards. The expanded coal refuse disposal area would abut the current refuse pile on the west and
expand to the east onto a previously reclaimed surface mined slope. At this time, the SEO has no
objection to the application.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at this office at (303) 866-3581.
Sincerely,
Mark .
