PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Honeywood Coal Company, 95 Whitebridge Road # 404, Nashville, TN 37205 has <br />submitted a complete application for a technical revision to the Division of Reclamation <br />Mining and Safety "DRMS" for its Hamilton Mine, approved mining permit No. C-1991-078. <br />The proposed revision will classify sediment Pond B as a permanent impoundment in <br />accordance with DRMS Rule 4.05.9(13). <br />The Hamilton Mine permit area is located in portions of the following described lands. <br />Township 46 North Range 15 West, N.M.P.M. <br />Section 32: El/2E'/2 <br />Section 33: WI/2, Disturbed areas in the SIANWIANEIA, <br />SEIANEIA, Wi/2NW1/4SE'/4 <br />Township 45 North, Range 15 West, N.M.P.M. <br />Section 4: Portions of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 11 & 12 <br />Section 5: NihNEI/4NE'/4 <br />Containing 757 acres more or less <br />The U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle map of Naturita, CO contains the proposed permit <br />area. The surface of the permit area is owned by Davis, Andrews LLLP and William E. <br />Bray. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Montrose County <br />Courthouse Annex, 300 Main, Nucla, CO and at the Denver and Durango offices of the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety [Room 215, 1313 Sherman St., Denver, CO <br />80203, (303) 866-3567; and 691 CR 233, Suite A-2, Durango, CO 81301, (970) 247- <br />1184]. Written comments regarding this application may be submitted to and additional <br />information may be obtained from the Denver office of Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety. Written <br />comments must be received by the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety within <br />10 days after the date of this publication in order to be considered.
