I searched through some of the older files and found some
additional information on the area proposed for the TR67, Coal Refuse Disposal Area (CRDA) expansion. I am
including copies of the 1980 and 1984 reports, since I am unsure if you have these in your files. The partial
photocopy of the map is from Rattlesnake Butte 7.5 minute USGS topo map (legend copied for scale and
reference information). The existing Refuse Disposal Area and the proposed expansion are sketched on to copy
of the topo for reference and are considered estimates. Please let me know if you need additional information
for your review of Foidel Creek Mine's TR67 or for PR8.
S
Protection Specialist II
(303) 8-6--3567 ext. 8107
e-mail: janet.binnsAstate.co.us
attachments: Photocopy of Rattlesnake Butte Topo
Energy Fuels Energy 1 & 2, and Eckman Park Mine cultural survey (1980)
Reconnaissance survey for the Foidel Creek Mine Area (1984)
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
