Dear Mrs. Schaffer,
The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted an inspection of the Koenig Pit on
April 15, 2009. During the inspection it was noted that the inlet/outlet structure for the reservoir
had been constructed prior to submitting design specifications to the Division. As a result, the
Division requested that the Operator submit the design specifications as a Technical Revision to
the reclamation permit. The Division received the design specification from Weld County on
June 11, 2009. However, the Division did not receive the $216.00 processing fee for the
Technical Revision. The Technical Revision will be considered filed when the appropriate fee is
submitted. Please include a cover letter with the payment explaining the purpose of the submittal.
