Proof of revegetation must ?u <br />be provided by Permittee prior to commencement of operations. <br />s waxi,-- w <br />g, Stockpiling: Materials which have not been extracted fr om the site may note <br />c. <br />be stockpiled on the permit area unless they are used for the purposes of 2 m <br />reclamation within a period of six (6) months after being deposited on the --,Wft <br />site. <br />h. SkyliniBg of FAuipment: The Permittee shall limit and minimize skylining of <br />?.., <br />equipment in the permitted site. Mobile equipment is not to be skylined for <br />any length of time and steps must be taken to limit mobile equipment from y <br />being seen from U.S. Highway 40. When portions of the permit area are G;.'.4 .ter <br />reclaimed, the mobile equipment will be moved from the highway side and <br />parked further into the permitted area to minimize visual impacts. <br />i. Exterior Lighting: Exterior lighting shall be minimized and shall be designed <br />and installed to subtly illuminate functional areas only. The source of light <br />shall not be visible above a horizontal plane and shall direct the light inward <br />and downward onto the site and away from the adjoining properties. { <br />Fixtures shall be hooded and shall not be located above the eave lines. Design B <br />and specifications of all planned exterior lighting shall be submitted with any <br />application for a building permit and shall be subject to approval by Grand ;,....??" <br />County. ' W <br />j. a c' : Any fencing installed on this subdivision shall conform to the ??? <br />recommendations of the Colorado Division of Wildlife publication, "Fencing <br />with Wildlife in Mind" <br />k. Wildlife Habitat: Permittee shall contact the Middle Park Sage Grouse <br />Working Group for information regarding sage grouse habitat on this <br />property. <br />1. Best Management Practices: Permittee shall use best management practices <br />for erosion and sediment control on all disturbed areas of the site. All topsoil s? <br />stockpiles are required to be revegetated upon being created to control , <br />noxious weeds and for purposes of stabilization. <br />m. Warning Signs. Whenever Permittee and the Board of County Commissioners <br />of the County of Grand, or either of them, are of the opinion that a traffic `,. <br />hazard might be created by truck traffic entering onto U.S. Highway 40, the <br />parties hereto may mutually agree to initiate efforts to obtain appropriate p <br />warning signs advising the general public of the possible traffic hazard. The <br />costs of signs and necessary materials for installation shall be paid for by the <br />Permittee and said signs shall be installed by Permittee at his expense under <br />the supervision of the Grand County Sheriffs Department or the Colorado <br />State Highway Department. This provision shall not release Permittee from <br />his obligation to prevent a traffic hazard from being created and nor shall this <br />provision release Permittee from providing other appropriate warnings to the <br />general public regarding the traffic hazard which may be created, such as <br />flagmen or other types of warning devices that may be necessary from time to <br />time. <br />n.
